St
Patrick's Festival Committee
We are at present setting
up our programme for 2005. It will be bigger and better
than ever, and why not? We aim to put on a festival that
our community and the area in general will be proud
of.

A Major problem for us
however, is raising sufficient money to finance the
festival. Our budget is 40,000 stg; and raising that
kind of money is a major undertaking for a voluntary
organisation like ours. Once again we are appealing to
you, and the many business in the region to support our
efforts. We are producing a very attractive brochure for
the occasion, You can support us by purchasing
advertising space in the brochure or by purchasing advertising
space on this website. if you would like any more
information on our advertising opportunities, please send an
email to advertise@lutonirishforum.org
or call 01582 415002 for more details.
A
message from the Chair
St. Patrick's Day to me brings back memories of growing up in Ireland, of green ribbons, St. Patrick's Day badges, going to Mass, Irish music, and collecting shamrock to be sent to Aunts and Uncles in England, in little boxes.
This is a very special time for the Irish Forum as we celebrate our culture, with a week long Festival, of Irish music, dance, and drama.
Irish sport will also be represented in the parade.
I would like to say thanks to the parents ,and the dance and music teachers. Thanks also to the people who organize gaelic sport, and to everyone who helped in the organizing our Festival. A special thank you to our sponsors without whom we would not have a Festival. This is also a special day for those who are named Patrick, Patricia, Pat and Paddy especially if you were born on St. Patrick's,Day March the 17th.
To everybody else enjoy the Festival as you think it should be enjoyed.
Noreen Kellett
Chair Luton Irish Forum.
