Noreen Kellett - Chair of the Luton Irish Forum

This year I am the chair of the Luton Irish Forum, I have been involved in the Luton Irish Forum for about five years and I feel privileged to be associated with it, having lived in Luton since I was 14, I have seen the Irish community grow up and in some cases grow old. I know the difference the support of the Luton Irish Forum makes to the Luton Irish community, I wish something like it was about when my father and many like him first came here.

I was invited to join the Luton Irish Forum in its early days, but was unable to at the time. I was given the opportunity again in July 2001 and was able to accept. I am involved with the Tuesday Club and as a committee member since it’s inception. I became Assistant Treasurer in 2003.
